Treatment Uses

Solar Keratosis

A solar keratosis is a small, thickened, scaly growth (or lump) on the skin which is caused by a lot of exposure to sun over the years.

Several such lumps may develop.

Treatment is strongly advised as there is a 20% risk that solar keratosis may eventually turn into skin cancer.

They feel rough and dry, and are slightly raised from the surface of the skin. You can often feel them more easily than see them.

Some redness may develop in the surrounding skin and sometimes a finger-like growth of hard skin appears to come out of a Solar Keratosis ( a cutaneous horn).

Molluscum

Molluscum Contagiosum

This debilitating skin condition is a viral infection and is of a highly contagious nature.

The virus propagates the appearance of small white, pink or flesh coloured protruding bumps or growths that, although painless, may create an itchy, red, swollen, or irritable skin condition.

Presently the only recognized effective means to arrest or eradicate Molluscum is by the use of costly medical procedures such as Cryotherapy (freezing) or the utilisation of Laser technology.

Fever Blisters

Fever blisters (herpes simplex) also known as cold sores, are painful lesions which usually form on the lips, chin, cheeks, or nostrils.

The blisters typically turn into yellow-crusted sores and then disappear within a couple of weeks but are unsightly and painful.

Skin chafing

Chafing

Chafing is the irritation of the skin that is generally caused by one part of skin rubbing with another part of skin, particularly in the inner thigh or groin and is usually from perspiration.

Nappy Rash

The rash is located on skin underneath the nappy area. The skin is red and irritated. It may appear all over your baby's bottom or genital area, or only in certain places.

Melaskin is a totally organic product and contains no chemicals or parabens and is therefore very safe to use on babies.

Rash From Plants

Contact with the oily coating from poison ivy, oak, and sumac causes a rash in many people.

It begins with redness and swelling at the contact site, then becomes intensely itchy with the development of blisters usually 12 to 72 hours after exposure.

The typical rash is arranged as a red line on an exposed area, caused by the plant dragging across the skin.

The rash usually lasts up to two weeks.

Melaskin Remedy does not cure these skin conditions but alleviates the discomfort.

Hives

A common allergic reaction that looks like welts, hives are often itchy, and sometimes stinging or burning.

Hives vary in size and may join together to form larger areas.

They may appear anywhere and last minutes or days.

Medications, foods, food additives, temperature extremes, and infections like strep throat are some causes of hives.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis

A non-contagious rash of thick red plaques covered with white or silvery scales, psoriasis usually affects the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back.

The rash can heal and recur throughout life.

The cause of psoriasis is unknown, but the immune system triggers new skin cells to develop too quickly.

Although we do not claim that Melaskin cures Psoriasis , users report that there is a noticeable relief from itching and the general discomfort of the condition.
